Are you in need of a weekend of Unwinding?
We are planning a weekend getaway to our favourite Victorian, regional accomodation
Avenel weekend has become a highlight for Unwinding & Connecting, so this year we are offering a second chance to join us.
Just a short drive up the Hume is this super cute town of Avenel, surrounded by wineries and regional charm.
Pack your craft and get ready to meet new friends, or bring a couple along, either way you’re bound to have a memorable, relaxing stay.
Get in quick as these spots fill up fast and the number is limited!
The sharing of food is a great way to show of your latest recipe, or treat bring a plate of something delicious to share with your fellow Unwinders on your designated “afternoon tea” day.

We will be heading to “Rusty Springs” in beautiful Avenel, VIC

Solo Room - don’t wanna share.. Then this option is for you!!!
Share Room - Shack up with someone else.. 2 people per room- buy a ticket each.
(*ALL ROOMS CONTAIN THEIR OWN ENSUITE & SHOWER, All linen and towels are provided*)
Powered Caravan Site - Have a van you can hook up??
I’m sharing a caravan with someone that has already booked - this is for anyone that is SHARING someone else’s caravan.. you cannot bring bring one yourself
(*BATHROOM/SHOWER FACILITIES AVAILABLE INSIDE MAIN BUILDING FOR CARAVANERS*)
THE NITTY GRITTY
- Dogs ARE welcome to come with anyone booking a caravan site but PLEASE NOTE, DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE MAIN BUILDINGS.. so will need to remain outside and sleep in vans
- Inside the main communal building there is a full Kitchen with fridges etc. There is also a central fire, if you would like to have a fire outside you will need to purchase wood.
THIS IS A SELF CATERING EVENT- ALL FOOD AND DRINK IS BYO - there are some lovely restaurants around, to avoid disappointment book in advance. There is bound to be someone who fancies a night out also there is no need to go alone.

SOUP SATURDAY- If you prefer to stay in and knit or crochet by the fire, we do a soup cook up (Ham Hock and Veg) there is always some spare and feel free to bring some of your favourite along.
The daily dose is a Pharmacy / Cafe, it’s great for coffee and they even have some take home meals.
We are in wine country so if you fancy, head of to one of the great wineries within 15 mins, pack your project and enjoy the nearby (15 mins by car) towns of Seymour and Nagambie, both have great eateries and Seymour even has a yarn shop🧶
Bank Street Pizza - This little gem is walking distance from Rusty Springs.
PLEASE NOTE - $50 IS NON REFUNDABLE, this covers admin hours etc. Any cancelation after the 15th of July will be non refundable , but you can give your spot away to someone else .. please note.. we won’t be taking a waiting list, so this will be up to you to organise
